The Barn at Sycamore Farms is a wedding and corporate event venue nestled on 28 acres located a short drive south of Nashville and just outside of Franklin, TN. The venue is nestled in the rolling hills of Middle Tennessee and offers spacious indoor and outdoor areas. With southern charm and numerous amenities, without doubt this venue can serve as the perfect location for any couple’s wedding vision.
Amenities at Sycamore Farms
Main Hall
The Main Hall is a spacious, climate controlled space that merges modern luxury with a traditional southern feel. With tall, arched ceilings, The Main Hall that can comfortably accommodate up to 300 guests at a seated dinner or 400 guests at a cocktail hour reception. A custom made crystal chandelier sparkles day and night hanging above the center of the room.
The Island
The island is a particularly unique location for couples to have their wedding ceremony. The island is situated very close to the other features of the venue. In under a minute, guests can walk from the main building over a beautiful stone and wood bridge onto a 9,000 square foot island. Where the couple will exchange their wedding vows under a wooden pergola.
The Sycamore Veranda
The Veranda just outside of the Main Hall is a great spot for the cocktail hour or the ceremony. It provides a fantastic plan B for your ceremony should rain unfortunately impact the day. While sipping refreshing beverages, guest’s and members of the wedding party enjoy beautiful views of the Sycamore Tree, the lake and the island. Like everything else at The Barn at Sycamore Farms, it’s spacious with vaulted ceilings held up with wood beams. The Veranda provides shade at all times of the day and has a large eight-foot wide fan hanging from the ceiling.
Guys Room
This venue offers the perfect spot for the guys to hangout and get ready for the big day. With in-room activities like a table shuffleboard, poker and blackjack tables, there will be plenty to do as everyone gets ready. The room has large sliding barn doors to provide privacy whenever needed. In like fashion, they can be opened to make the space inviting to arriving guests who may want to say hello to the groom.
Bridal Suite
The bridal suite provides an ideal spot for hair and make up and getting into the dress. With multiple chairs, mirrors, a bathroom and good lighting, you’ll have everything needed to get ready to say “I Do”! The room is discretely tucked into the corner of The Main Hall, so that the arriving guests won’t see the bride prematurely.
The Sycamore Tree
The venue is known for this iconic tree. It’s photogenic, gorgeous and is prominently seen from anywhere on the property. It’s the perfect spot for a first look, couples portraits and family photos.
All things considered, we love working The Barn at Sycamore Farms every time we are there. The venue is picturesque and the staff is dedicated to partnering together with us to give the couple a quality videography experience. The close proximity of the various amenities makes it easy for us to spend more time filming and less time moving video gear.
